IMO, elected officials and government employees should not be allowed to refuse to publicly testify in court or in front of legislatures and keep their job unless they are invoking the 5th Amendment to protect themselves from self incrimination (which raises additional job security questions) or the issue is that they are being asked about is classified or the subject of an ongoing investigation in which public discussion would jeopardize the investigation.

More deflection, while still not answering the question.

Again, I admire your singular mindset.

It’s almost as though you’ve been programmed.

Provide the interrogatories and requests for production. I’d love to read them. The responses in them would be fascinating.

We’ve got several Trump sycophants on here claiming ‘fraud’ but didn’t even know there was Discovery in the Fox News vs Dominion lawsuit and even when presented with that fact still deny there was Discovery. What would you call that? I know what I would call it.

Is this your attempt at situational comedy?

If not, then…

I’d love to read that discovery. Can you link the interrogatories and RFPs and the responses?

Did any of the discovery info. get presented in court? You are being disingenuous. You know the answer but will side step it.

They did discovery. Fox News would have this data. Why do they need to show it in court? Why are y'all so obsessed with courts being the only avenue to releasing the Kraken? Same shite with Rudy in the suit he admited to defamation instead of turning over evidence proving his claims

Funny note I found last week about Rudy and that suit, Rudy has joined team SFP and claims the Gateway Pundit are liars.

Masterful post. Bravo

But "muh discovery didn't happen", I see this thread is full of federal procedure savants.

What gets me is the Trumpist focus on Detroit.

That’s a legitimate focus. The county’s votes didn’t balance. They couldn’t match up voters with ballots in Wayne County. And they made separate precincts for vote by mail than in-person voters so you couldn’t tell where the discrepancy arose.

It was intentional.

The certification of the county’s vote was delayed until the Republicans were told an audit and investigation would be performed. As soon as they certified, the Democrats said “Yeah, we didn’t make a legally binding agreement to investigate. But you did certify. So tough titties.” Not quite a direct quote, but close.

For this argument, that's fine. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but to discuss 2020, you have to do the 3 things I posted about.

You always want to avoid the actual holes in the system.

There’s no tracking of changes made by user.

When ballots are not automatically adjudicated, a user can go in and determine the voters intent, print out the new ballot with the “voters intent” and replace the original ballot with the new adjudicated ballot.

None of this is tracked by user.

There is some indication that ballots which did not adjudicate can be adjudicated by batch processes. Try to let that sink in. Thus the clamor for the original ballot images.

This would not be unacceptable security for a voting system for a high school election. Let alone a state-wide federal election.

That’s to say nothing of software updates and timing, fractional voting possibilities, lack of ongoing certification of machines and internet connectivity.
