Grossi is director general for IAEA. So much for all the bullshite posters claiming Iran isn’t pursuing, not close, etc..

Guess they have been enriching to weapons grade just for fun with no intention of doing anything with it.

Good lawd… some of the Israeli haters and American apologists on this site are unbelievable. Just pack your shite and go join the Iranian armed forces.

Just outright lies

LINK

quote:

Grossi notes that much of what was included in the report was “essentially not new,” and that the nuclear watchdog has been warning for years that Iran was refusing to share data on its nuclear activities.

“In that report, I also said that, at this point, we do not have any indication that there is a systemic program in Iran to manufacture a nuclear weapon,” Grossi cautions, stressing that the IAEA only reports on what it can verify itself, and does not engage in speculation.

Asked about the timeline in which Iran could theoretically produce a nuclear weapon, even an extremely crude one, Grossi says it is one thing to have enough enriched uranium for a nuclear weapon — the IAEA report had estimated that Iran had enough uranium, if enriched further, for nine nuclear bombs — but another thing entirely to have a warhead to put it in.

“It’s true that in the early 2000s, there had been some activities which were assessed at that time as related to nuclear weapon development…we are not seeing this now,” he says, adding that, therefore, discussing a timeline would be nothing more than “pure speculation.”

He reiterates, however, that Iran is the only non-nuclear weapon state to be enriching uranium to the level that it is.

So enriching to weapons grade for no reason and with no plan on what to do with it. In the process of enriching more material. They haven’t even started trying to figure out what they can do with it. No evidence at all.

Guess they are just sitting around it staring at it like it’s a camp fire and dreaming about all the possibilities since there are so many non-military uses for it. Got it.

Pack your shite.

Of course they do. And they have sleeper cells with dirty bombs inside our borders. Thanks to the Dems who want to see the Constitutional Republic be “fundamentally changed “. Not rocket science.

They have not enriched to weapons grade weapons.

The statement you site says they have enough for 9 missiles IF enriched to weapons grade, which they currently lack the technical ability to do. It's a hypothetical.

No interest in us being involved in any war, much less another one in the Middle East. Just tired of the apologists and deniers for Iran. At some point… pursuit becomes reality.

The only thing that really concerns me are religious fanatics… regardless of religion. They can justify anything to themselves.

Really? Because that's not what Grossi said...
quote:

The director general of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, said in a report this month that “Iran is the only non-nuclear-weapon state in the world that is producing and accumulating uranium enriched to 60 percent.”

But on Tuesday, Grossi told CNN said that U.N. inspectors did not have proof that Iran was engaged in “a systematic effort to move into a nuclear weapon.”

I watched him this morning on Maria Bartiromo. He said exactly what I said. Go watch it yourself.

I didn’t say they have a systematic approach to build a bomb. He said there was no evidence of that. Not the point. They are enriching to weapons grade for a purpose.

Also… don’t post anything from CBS as your fact check. Good lawd.

No he didn't. What you said is a lie or a mischaracterization at best

He said the had enough material IF they enriched to weapons grade. It was a hypothetical in the future not a statement of truth in the current world.

You can defend yourself lying , you can admit that you are lying, you can ignore this thread, or you can make odd personal attacks. All of these options have the same impact on me.

I'll state this clearly. According to the IAEA, Iran currently has zero material capable of being used for nuclear weapons. In the future, if Iran successfully enriches their existing nuclear material to weapons grade levels, they will AT THAT POINT IN TIME (emphasized because that is not today) have enough for 9 weapons.

I have no doubt they are enriching for a nuke, why on earth would they build it underground.

Here is the question of the day though, how do these so called "experts" have any idea??? The obama deal STRICTLY FORBID any inspection of these military sites.

So we spent millions of dollars on these fckheads to fly to Iran, buy some persian rugs on our expense account, sip some tea, eat some crumpits, and fill out bullshite reports for years.

On the other hand you have Mossad taking out leaders left and right, obviously with insider intel. Id say they are a wee bit more reliable on intel than these so called "experts".

Course many on the site cant get over their hate of Jews to think rationally. After all they somehow bought off all congress.......when we have spent more on Ukraine in the last 30 minutes than we have given Israel in 30 years.

We tossed stacey abrams 2 billion bucks and she isnt even in the inner circle, yet Israel has bought off all congress for a few million

Ah yes the scientist had access to the full intelligence you say?

quote:

There were a few things that stood out," Roman said, referencing activity at the Times Enrichment facility.
"Iran reactivated an explosives manufacturing line, which could only be used to help that needed nuclear weapon…
efforts to put the fissile material into a shape which could be used for a nuclear weapon – that was reactivated as well." Roman added that these developments mirrored work Iran halted in 2003, when it froze its military nuclear program. Experts believe Iran is enriching uranium to 60%, which puts it just below the 90% needed for a nuclear weapon, and have said there is no civilian use for 60% enriched uranium.
