People like you often bitch about "white people tacos," but there are Tex-Mex restaurants all over the world, and I'm not even counting Taco Bell.

I searched for Tex-Mex restaurants in Lagos, Nigeria. I found a Facebook thread with people tossing around at least a half-dozen examples. Plovdiv, Bulgaria? You could go on a walking tour of Tex-Mex restaurants in Plovdiv.

"White people tacos" arguably aren't even the signature food of Texas. You can get Texas-style slow-smoked brisket and ribs at Binks BBQ in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Good luck finding a white person at that place.

So no... white people are not "the best experts at financing mediocre cuisine." That is just an exquisitely racist and asinine statement, and you should be ashamed of it.

“Progressives” of all stripes are the most hateful, racist motherfrickers out there today.

The kid you described is the majority of educated kids of immigrants, and even if all the parents are from drastically different countries and ethnic groups the camaraderie they share is based on what this kid is saying. There’s no exaggeration in my statement when I say they simply hate white people and it’s constantly in their head. This is what boomers miss when they try to parse immigration discussion: they have no context for “the next generation”
