It's like the Seinfeld saying wth the cigar store Indian, "it's not racist if I like their race"

Now this is straight up racism. My favorite brand too. Switching!

I was thinking that. Seeing a black woman on a product somehow triggered racism among white liberals.

With the number of top shelf Maple syrups available, anyone still using any of those old standbys need to pick their games up.

"Pearl Milling Company" looks like something you'd buy at Dollar Tree.

Thought for sure this had to be the Bee. I mean... what kind of a name is that for a fricking syrup brand, especially when mining is being outlawed?

EDIT: Misread it. Still awful, but bewildered just scimming it.

Log Cabin is a much better name for a syrup brand than Pearl Milling Company. At least syrup somewhat reminds me of sap. What the frick were they thinking?

Glad they changed it.

When I first heard this back when I bought a few bottles just for the frick you factor. Did the same with Uncle Ben's rice. I second the Steens recommendation.

The new label still say Aunt Jemima in the small box on the lower right side. It says:

NEW NAME
SAME GREAT TASTE
Aunt Jemima

Tell me Uncle Ben is still a thing.

Yeah, a "win for the woke" is branding a name as racist and replacing it with a brand name you expect to find exclusiely at Dollar General.

That's just dumb marketing. I liked Aunt Jemima's pancake mix, but I only use real maple syrup and none of that maple flavored crap.

As they should be. It's a compliment, but we live in a clown world.
