re: Rachael Corrie - US Woman Killed in Palestine

My number one question is why is she in Palestine protesting?
Protesting in Palestine (outside the USA) does not afford her the same rights as protesting here. As such, I can only assume she understood the risks and was willing to accept them. I applaud her dedication to her cause for sure but I do not blame the Israelis one bit for doing what they feel is necessary.
If the Israelis came to America and started killing American protesters here, sure, I'd be pissed too.
See the difference?

Section 1. Purpose and Policy. Safe communities rely on the backbone and heroism of a tough and well-equipped police force. My Administration is steadfastly committed to empowering State and local law enforcement to firmly police dangerous criminal behavior and protect innocent citizens.
When local leaders demonize law enforcement and impose legal and political handcuffs that make aggressively enforcing the law impossible, crime thrives and innocent citizens and small business owners suffer. My Administration will therefore: establish best practices at the State and local level for cities to unleash high-impact local police forces; protect and defend law enforcement officers wrongly accused and abused by State or local officials; and surge resources to officers in need. My Administration will work to ensure that law enforcement officers across America focus on ending crime, not pursuing harmful, illegal race- and sex-based “equity” policies.
The result will be a law-abiding society in which tenacious law enforcement officers protect the innocent, violations of law are not tolerated, and American communities are safely enjoyed by all their citizens again.
Of course YOU would look at this as a Police state and say WE HAVE NO RIGHTS. Not surprised. How fast you forget that in Blue states during COVID governors and mayors took all rights away from their citizens. Most even said you WILL get the jab or else.
I read that not with FEELING and no outside influence but looks they are letting people handle their business and not deal with Political BS. No ten second clip by CNN showing officers handling the situation. I like this very much and look forward to this.

Sad thing is people like her think they are making a difference but honestly after the last election the majority spoke. Now people like her fight for bringing an illegal wife beater back to a country he is not from and keeping men in women's sports. I could keep going but these people believe anything their MSM tell them. They are taking our rights

Why does anyone give a shite about this?

I don't but kinda took offense to Cubbies saying conservatives want a police state. NOT
Hell Trump tried to end the war in Gaza and the war in Ukraine but if they want to keep killing each other go for it. I don't care either way. At least now with President Trump Ukraine isn't getting a blank check from the US taxpayers.

Agree. Israel SHOULD NOT be questioned. When you’re as much of an ally as Israel is, you deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to launch a program providing free legal resources to police officers accused of wrongdoing, while also ordering his administration to increase the supply of “excess military and national security assets” to local law enforcement.
In Chicago, police aren't allowed to pursue criminals, the city killed the Shotspotter program to help response time to gun crimes, and violent offenders are allowed to roam free thanks to Pritzker's laughably named SAFE-T Act.
Just recently, some Chicago city council members actually wanted to give millions of dollars to the family of a thug who shot a cop during a routine traffic stop. And people wonder why police recruitment is down dramatically.
So because the Trump administration wants to help departments that have been crippled by local politicians, you consider that creating a "police state"?
Meanwhile, the left stays silent about the UK and Germany throwing its citizens in jail for memes. Or Australia macing people who didn't wear masks and throwing them into quarantine camps during Covid.

Moral of the story: Probably not the best idea to go to a war zone halfway around the world to protest in support of people who don't care about you.

The same mouth breathers on here defending or celebrating her death are the same ones who feigned outrage when we mercked some Isis leader who renounced his citizenship when Obama was President. Their fragile minds can’t handle the cognitive dissonance.

Go pointing out blatant hypocrisy? Cry more.
Seriously what is wrong with you.
Understanding the sides of others is not hypocrisy. It's not a zero sum game.
Fundamentally libertarian thought is democratic, understanding and accepting that others do not agree with you for also good reason, and they may win at the ballot box, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Like with your denial of any reasons for the militarization of the police.
It's a sad world you live in when refuses to validate others right to their own opinions.
I see it again and again. Someone says demographics and you accuse them of being a racist.
You are acting like a child who read the Hobbit and runs around calling anyone you think of as ugly an Orc.

Trust me, I haven't forgotten. I was critical of those policies, too.

wtf are you talking about?

Wait, hold up. Now we're supportive of the federal government interfering in local governance?
Militarizing the police creates a police state. Local police departments to not need to use weapons of war against their own citizens.

My denial of reasons? One either supports local police departments using weapons of war on Americans or they don't. I don't.

What are you referring to, specifically?
You haven't been making much sense lately. You're just fixated on being mad and petty.

Cubbies loves Cities like New Orleans, Chicago, New York , Milwaukee, St. Louis (shitholes high murder rates, drugs everwhere) the ones that are controlled by democrat Politicians and actually fall under the definition of a " Police State" . Trump puts an EO to clear out the political BS and give people their cities back to citizens and keep it safe and now Cubbies tells us he is ORANGE MAN BAD. She is clueless.

When local governance can't, or won't, protect its own citizens? Sure. There's a reason why Brandon Johnson has an approval rating hovering around 7% in a Democrat stronghold. The policies have failed across the political spectrum.

The citizens are already using "weapons of war" on each other, and local governance has hindered police efforts to stop it. So what would you do differently?

You seem to have a lot to say about Israel, so I figured you'd have an opinion on countries who actually act like police states.
