My God the democrats are speaking out about this like the guy killed somebody or did something illegal. If blunders not thought through statements-- lost jobs no one would be in DC. IF Spicer goes the dems will say they ran him off and we will never hear the end of it.

I understand what Spicer was trying to say. Most people understand what Spicer was trying to say. My problem is that the way he said it was incredibly stupid, and he made himself look like even more of a moron trying to correct himself. Yes, he should go.

On one hand, the media is going to do all they can to eviscerate whoever Trump's press secretary is, as well as whatever that person says.
On the other hand, Spicer can't voluntarily bring up Hitler as an analogy, for any reason, and really needs to stop offering any color to his answers in these briefings. Answer the question succinctly and move on.
If Trump decides he needs to make a change, it would be understandable.

They've demanded a number of recusals, resignations, and pointless divestitures already in this young administration.
It's less about Spicer, and more about not caving to their bullshite at this point. Trump is supposed to be the guy that laughs at PC culture, and this is an opportunity for him to prove it wasn't lip service.
