He's going to use the Qatar Force One until he dies but have the library fund pay to maintain it. Trump is the master of a scheme.

Right? I thought that was obvious from the beginning when DOJ refused to produce the memorandum which supposedly explained how this wasn't a violation of the Emoluments Clause.
THEN, they switched tunes with Eric saying that, no they were going to put an old AF1 in there. THEN Jbird, who knows something about such things, showed me an authoritative article about how USAF was converting it to another use and would keep it after Trump left office.
When I watched today's press conference, however, the way Trump played dumb with the reporter, it became apparent that he was keeping it for his own personal travel after his term was over.
I just thought it was remarkable. Others aren't interested. Cool.

What would stop him? A Board that he appoints? His Kennedy Center Board (of which Trump is Chairman) threatens to bulldoze the Kennedy Center if Trump’s name is not added to it.

That's why I was surprised when President Trump said today that the jet was probably going with him after he left office.
