As for Trump not controlling the 747 personally. His 757 is owned by some LLC. You don't think Trump controls its use?
I just think it's implausible that Trump is having us spend well over $400 million in upgrades for the jet...and then is going to retire it two years later.
Yes I'm aware of Jbird's compelling argument about operating costs. I think Trump will be worth upwards of $6 billion when he leaves. Plus, he's a great businessman.
Plus, he's lifetime President of the Board of Peace. He will be flying this baby after he leaves office.
