Russian President Vladimir Putin says he is expecting a team of US negotiators to come to Moscow, once Washington has reached an agreement with Iran over the Middle East conflict.

“We are ready to continue negotiations and ready to continue negotiations and discuss all the details,”

Not what I predicted, but Ukraine has been hurting them bad.

Russia has probably lost more troops but Russia put a rocket right thru the Ukrainian capitol. If Russia wanted to win this war and have Ukraine submit they could easily.

Yeah, and Putin had aggressive blood cancer, was days away from death and was hiding in a bunker from irrational fear of Covid 4 years ago when this whole conflict started.

If that's the qualifier, it's gonna take awhile.

Then why haven't they? This war has not been good for any part of the Russian populace or oligarchy.

If they had the means to end it with a decisive victory, they would've done it. Instead they've lost over a million young men, been hit with sanctions and loss of oil sales, had ports and refineries damaged and destroyed, and are bleeding expensive equipment at an unsustainable rate.

It's been almost 5 years. If they could've finished it "easily" they would've a long time ago.

And right on the heels of very successful Ukrainian drone and long range rocket attacks.

What.. Russia starting to get involved with the US. Iran, Israel, Middle East conflict? Surprised it took this long.

I can see Russia investing ships to help keep the Straight open. But more of a control of shipping than Unified Global Community.

Wouldn't want US and Russian ships tangling together each trying to control the Straights.

Withdraw from Ukraine/Crimea and say you’re sorry. Boom done. Lives stop being wasted.

This won’t lead to anything most likely. Russia will stop when Putin feels like doing so. Trump being the world police does nothing to change that. And Putin already violated a ceasefire before so he doesn’t have a good track record of sticking to agreements.

Russia is going to get Donbass, then they will seek peace after they get what they want. Then the UK, France, Germany and Ukraine will have another meeting of how dangerous Russia is but will not increase defense spending and Talk bad about trump. Trump will not care and will want peace before the mid terms. JMO. Also don't believe any of these numbers on soilders killed, I think it is all PR crap on both sides. Yes, Ukraine is sending drones into Russia and blowing a refinery but those are fixed rather quickly. Russia could bomb the hell out Keiv if it wanted but dosen't for some reason.

Putin does not the Iran War to end, and Iran to have the ability to sell their oil freely into the global markets, because it props up Russian oil prices.

Well I mean, Trump said he would end the Ukraine/Russia war within 24hrs of being in office.

He's only off by about 18 months now and decided to detour into another conflict he can't end

Weren't they also weeks or days away from running out of ammunition at one time too?
