Putin mocks the UK. He's an arse, but he's not wrong here.

To be fair, he is a little off because his statement presumes that the U.K. is actually trying to stop the boats.

The UK is trying to drag Russia into a nuclear war, and you think Putin is an arse?

I don't like Putin. But I don't like the British government types much either.

You can see certain advantages to a dictatorial government/leader. Things don't get out of hand in those countries. And the way our country is going, we will have a dictator within 25 years.

They invaded Ukraine without legitimate provocation

They are in a multi-year quagmire with no way of winning

It's quite the significant fact when discussing the potential nuclear reaction of Russia as a result of that act

Russia did not violate agreements with NATO. NATO did that.

a. There was no actual agreement

b. What does Ukraine have to do with NATO? Prior to the invasion there was not even a coordination or discussion between Ukraine and NATO on how to begin the process to join NATO

I agree.

Disdain for one does not preclude the same feeling for the other.

Is the US still occupying land in Mexico? Is the PRC still occupying land in the ROC?

No. That's been settled

Is the PRC still occupying land in the ROC?

That's more complicated and could result in nukes

This is why I think it is in the interest of the US to be in friendly terms with Russia and China. Neither of those countries want liberalism and mass immigration, which is what we’re seeing Europe want more and more of. I think they’d be strategic allies more so than Europe and some of our other “allies”

He’s definitely not wrong.

Just like when Trump warned Angela Merkel and the EU of their strategic risks in purchasing energy from Russia …. while they were simultaneously shutting down coal and nuclear in pursuit of “global warming”

You seem unfamiliar with the timeline in Ukraine, specifically Zelensky being elected and who he beat in that election
