I'm curious should voting come with certain education, history, civics, and reading training classes? If we have to register to vote why can't they require certification on literacy and education every X amount of years. If you can not pass you can not vote.

Not sure how that has anything to do with private property rights.

Do you enter into an agreement with the government when you open a business?

Nope. You pay taxes by simple coersion. Pay or go to jail. There's no consideration nor exchange.

So you entered into an agreement to pay Fed/State/County/City taxes payroll/workers comp

Or else go to jail

That is the cost of doing business.

I'll pick this up in the morning

Sure. The same way you entered into an agreement with a mugger when they point a gun at you.

No it's not. Everyone should be able to carry anywhere they want.

Like, say Starbucks... Medium.com

Is asking not to open carry the same as no gun zone?

Are you saying property rights don't exist because you operate a business that's "open to the public"?

If a Muslim shows up at my house I can say “leave, I hate Muslims”. Can’t do that at a business...

I'll allow it if there are also courses and tests for EACH AND EVERY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT individually, not just Amendments 1-4, every single one. No pass the test, no exercise the right.

But wait! That would make them not rights at all but privileges. See how that works?

/\ EXACTLY !! /\

The easiest way to subject a free people to a tyranny is to enact a myriad of 'laws' which can be selectively enforced.

Just look at what is already happening with our 'national security' authorities = selectively turned on political opponents - triggered by bullshite charges - once started, unlimited 'process crimes' can be induced - bankrupt, imprision anyone who does not 'turn' on his associates,

We also have the 'private sector' who are actually part of a cabal to undermine America who are using their powers to create the narrative of "evil conservative" on a daily basis, hounding and harassing anyone who dares to speak his own mind.

We need fewer laws - and those to be enforced with a vengeance regardless of status or associations.

People see a gun and they start freaking out, causing headaches for management. Best for all parties just to conceal.

I have zero problem with this. Open carry is for the "look at me" types for the most part. Also, Publix stores are private property.

Not arguing with it’s legality and I won’t fight it. But I wouldn’t never open carry unless society totally breaks down (like post-Katrina New Orleans). People who open carry are either cops or grade A dipshits.

And there’s absolutely no logical reason to open carry an WASR-10 in a retail establishment that doesn’t involve trading guns. If I see that happen, I am going the other direction. If someone walked into my business open carrying that, you can bet your arse that I would call the police.

I wouldn't want open carry morons in my business, either, so I wouldn't call this going "full retard." Concealed carry is for protection. Open carry is for attention.
