Nobody wins when Starbucks starts letting homeless people use their restrooms next month. Their restrooms have already gone WAY downhill these last few years. Starbucks has kind of lost their cache - they’re more like McDonalds now than ever before.

Sometimes when I’m traveling and I see that the Starbucks barista is a a basic black chick, I get a cold brew instead of a flat white. Just not confident that the effort will be there for a $5 drink.
I always hope the barista will be a flamboyant gay guy as they’re most prone to hook you up with an extra shot and do the froth well.

Don’t loiter someplace without buying anything, taking up a table and using their bathroom.
And especially don’t tell the store “go ahead and call the cops” then bitch about the cops being called.

I worked in a Starbucks in the 90's during college. It was like Central Perk from Friends.
Now they're all industrial and soul-less and cookie-cutter - and not nearly as clean - like you said, they over-expanded with franchises and you have some McDonald type ones out there.
People used to hang out all day in the 90's at Starbucks - now it's drive-thru.
