He may still be too weird for more centrist Democrats. I think he'd force some to vote Republican if a decent R is on the ticket. All they have to do is run a black or female candidate and that will unite the entire party.

They couldn’t care less about candidates winning elections. None of that matters anymore

He said solid person. Of course to Democrats that probably does count as “solid”.

On another note, I’m trying to figure out a way around Biden potentially being so angry about being tosses aside that he would have some rather interesting things to say, in order to lash out and retaliate. “They” would have to be a little concerned about that potential complication.

Also, I’m sure Biden owes some favors to rather high up people of various descriptions……I don’t see him having gotten to the point he’s at now without owing a bunch. It would seem that those “favors” owed favors would be extinguished along with Biden’s Presidential authority being extinguished. Those individuals (or “interests”) might have something to say about that as well.

I'd agree but by them putting Joe in office shows that they really don't care if one is "solid" or not

I just don't see how they'd survive the turmoil of having a President from their Party resign barely 2 years before the 2024 election (if that's indeed what Biden does.) That is, I don't see how they'd survive it...unless they cheat.

Joe was preaching at MLK's old church in Atlanta reminding them that he single handily ended segregation in Delaware, apartheid in South Africa and regulary attended black churches growing up (after 7:30 Mass)

They are in charge of all the machines and have unfettered "mail in" ballot harvesting. They call all the shots with no regard for a "strong candidate"

Interesting you mention that because one likely “favor” or series of favors that remain mysterious (and surely not repaid as of this moment) are the things Jim Clyburn did for Biden that essentially paved the way for his Presidency. Clyburn probably ain’t gonna sit by and watch Biden’s debt to him so simply be wiped away. And as we all know Clyburn somehow has some power to wield.

Definitely a shank in the back to Biden.

well perhaps - but that would be like jumping in after the emperor was already dead. He is just trying to get his talking points in line if ever he were to be so unfortunate to run into an honest man who asks him a pertinent question.

One thing you can say about dear ol Adam - he does nothing out of ethical consideration - only guided by avarice.

As we have noted from the outset of the Biden term, the installation always appeared to be a ‘one-term’ strategy. Meaning the people behind the installation were using Biden as a single term disposable front man to advance a rapid set of ideological policies. The controversy of the classified documents facilitates the one term design. With that approach in mind, the issue of contrast between the Biden documents and the Trump documents is a moot point.

What is done, or not done, regarding Joe Biden has no bearing on the roadmap of continued Trump targeting. Biden is and was always disposable.

Joe promised Clyburn if he supported him he would get a black, female on the SCOTUS and he delivered on it. Joe knows how to pander to the black community and generally delivers the goods. Not sure how Clyburn and his ilk view these new breed of leftists....they don't really like queers, immigrants, and culture war issues beyond black grievances.....it's more what's in it for them.

Wouldn’t be saying this if they hadn’t raised Trump. He could give a shite less if they didn’t raid Trump.

I agree. I think they want to have a clean slate, blame all the things we don't like on Biden.

It’s Gavin and Stretchin’ 2024. Book it. I’ve said it here before. These two followed their orders and were loyal to the party. Time for their reward.

Agreed.......I just think it's remarkable the way Schiff just turned on Biden.....something must be in it for him.....he must be angling for a job in any new Democrat Admin.
