The vaccine messaging has been horrible
But choosing not to do something out of some prideful made up team a vs team b, even something where you see data showing its usefullness, is one of the most illogical stubborn things I have seen
Its pretty much the equivalent of the covidians that refused to give up their masks and fear even in the face of data

For me it's the complete ignoring of any commodities and personal health issues by officials. Of the varying things which people had some control over, it was known VERY early on that excess weight was a huge contributing factor in those that got sicker. At NO POINT was there ever any huge national coordinated push for everyone to try and get down to a healthier weight and to get into shape.
Imagine 1940's America and their Victory Gardens and collecting scrap metal. If they found out that there was a virus that was disproportionately killing fat people (not that there were many then, but for argument's sake) it would have been a National Emergency to get Americans healthier. This should have been THE motivating factor everyone got on board with during the lockdown. It should have been encouraged, not demanded...but it should have been explained how much healthier you'd be and how the statistics were showing that people at a healthier weight were doing better if/when they caught it.
But, because it's taboo to suggest that there's even anything like a "healthy weight" this was completely ignored in favor of the vaccine being the only possible solution to every problem. And keep in mind, I'm not suggesting the vaccines aren't working...but there's been an obvious disinterest in even pretending there were any other possibilities for survival other than lockdowns, masks made of old t-shirts, Plexiglas and vaccines.

The CDC projects that there are well over 100 million Americans that have had the virus. They all have natural immunity going forward, so why the need for this third of all Americans to get vaccinated?

We only have 34 million confirmed.
We cannot properly identify how many people:
a) have had covid
b) still have any natural antibodies
c) still have enough antibodies to fight off any re-infection.
Natural antibodies are significantly less uniform and more unpredictable.
Vaccinations are easy to count and much more predictable.
This should be like 3rd grade science.

I believe there should be a government issued rfid chip that people who have been vaccinated should receive to help differentiate them from non vaccinated people. Insert it in the left ear lobe.
I also believe vaccinated people should wear masks everywhere to help them recognize each other and know that they are safe.
Finally we should create “safe states” for vaccinated people. Places like California, Oregon, and Washington should only be allowed to vaccinated individuals, with the exception of homeless, minorities, and illegals. The states should buy any non vaccinated individuals property or business at 2x fair market value to help remove them from the state.
It’s really the only way.
