We used to have a large USAF base at Thule Greenland (Dew Line stations) and the Army built an underground base there but had to abandon it because the ice is constantly moving (Project Iceworm and camp Century). There is a huge canyon in the center of Greenland under the icesheet.

I think it would be exciting. New American Frontier and it could have lots of untapped resources we don’t know about.
Not sure anyone has ever tried to do much research on its resources. It has some coastal towns that are mostly fishing oriented I believe but beyond that there’s not much
