With the 49ers visiting the Dolphins this week, San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick engaged in a conference call with members of the South Florida media. However, one reporter wanted to discuss something that happened in August, when Kaepernick wore a shirt that appeared to show support for Fidel Castro, which led to a tense exchange. The shirt depicted scenes from a 1960 meeting between Castro and Malcolm X, and it bore the phrase, “Like minds think alike.”.

quote:

“One thing that Fidel Castro did do is they have the highest literacy rate because they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system,” Kaepernick said, “which we do not do here, even though we’re fully capable of doing that.” The reporter pointed out that, unlike what happens in the United States, Castro also broke up families. “We do break up families here,” Kaepernick responded. “That’s what mass incarceration is. That was the foundation of slavery, so our country has been based on that as well as the genocide of Native Americans.”

Blame England, France, Spain and the Dutch and the locals that captured and sold neighboring tribes.

the Natives that didn't fight hard enough to eradicate the early European settlers have a little blame too.

U.S. education spending per pupil is among the highest in the world. According to some sources, it's number 1, and we're always top 5. Throwing more money at the problem isn't going to solve anything.

Castro has a horrible human rights record. Weird how "activists" such as Kaepernick don't think it's that important.

So edgy. That guy would not last a week without his grande low-fat chai, extra soy. He should talk to Mrs Pimp about the joy of Communists seizing your private property, killing your friends and family and living for a year in a fricking refugee tent. What a moral idiot these anti-American Leftist idiots are. frick that guy and his progressive posse. All of them together couldn't squeeze out enough personal virtue to fill up a teaspoon.

Funny you don't see Americans risking their life swimming to the great country of Cuba.
