If health care workers are having trouble getting masks how in the hell would you expect the other 300 plus million people in the country to get one? Don't give me this make your own shite either. I'm not Betsy Ross. I can't sew anything and I'm not going out in public with a Maxipad tied onto my face.

Try the Red Cross or some other relief agency.

I'm fine with it if that is what it takes to get our country back to work. Once the virus has run its course we can take the masks back off.

I'm looking forward to the cool designs that people will come up with.

I typically try to keep my mouth covered during flu season anyways and wearing masks will just make it easier. I'm going to put a layer inside the material that I will use so nothing can be breathed into my mouth when I am in a store or getting gas.

A couple of years ago I went out on a cold Saturday night jusst to put gas into the SUV and the next day I got sick as a dog. Of course that was the night I didn't cover the mouth and must have gotten sick by touching my face mulitple times after putting gas in.

Are you going to at least make them give you a treat before you roll over and show them your belly like the bitch you are?

Apparently we are ok with letting grandma die to reopen the economy but wearing a mask is a bridge too far?

I don't have a problem with it. I live in a metro area, am 72 years old, and with underlying health issues. It's not that big of a deal to me.

No offense but you should stay home then and not tell me what I should or should not be doing.

Healthcare workers need N95 or better masks. Wearing a bandana or scarf would satisfy this order I imagine.

Do it yourself mask site
Good site to show how to make N20, N70, and N90 quality masks with common items

Serious, is this even legal... How can they make someone wear something?

It's April 2020 and the rule of law in America is dead. It really is, and it happened without a fight.

Wasn't it Oprah that suggested cutting a tampon in half and stuffing half up each nostril? Try it if the maxipad keeps falling down.
