Iran has killed 1000 Americans since 1979. 7600 Americans have died in war since 1979. So your math is off. Its not a tenth of 1%. 13.16 % of Americans killed in the last 47 years have been by Iran.

Again, without looking, I would guess that over 50% of those were in the Iraq war. Not excusing it, but it is similar to Russia saying the US has killed tens of thousands of Russian soldiers in the last 4 years.
I only posted this because you questioned the math, which, as he wrote it I think it fully accurate but not what you responded to.
Iran is an issue. It will be an issue until there is regime change. Anything short of that just makes them more of an issue in the future.
