No. If anything it will keep the regime propped up and in power. If the IRGC controls any aid that comes into the country then they can force compliance from the people. The civilians may want to overthrow the regime and see it fall but they have no guns to do it with. The choice would be easy. People will do the math. We have no guns to fight them with and they have control of the food I need to survive and not starve to death so I better do what the IRGC tells me to do so me and my family can eat. Honestly I think it makes the IRGC’s job easier for them. Keep the people half starved and you kill to birds with one stone. Not only can the IRGC have better control and compliance over the population if they are half starved. They can also give the population just enough food to keep them alive but to weak to fight.

Sir, you aren't going to gaslight me. He absolutely has. I thought I was getting great breaking news about the imminent fall of the IRGC on at least two occasions and suggesting (or wishcasting) it other times. He is definitely in my algorithm, and I am not a leftist in any way at all. I wish him the best and I hope one day he will be able to announce the fall of that regime, legitimately.
