Maybe Portland has a muchly over inflated sense of its bad self.
Portland Hubris
I guess Texas may survive this ridiculous attempt to virtue signal. Don’t mess with Texas!

Does Portland do a lot of business with Texas? I can't imagine that Texas is selling them anything directly. I assume gas is exempt.

That causes the case to involve interstate commerce.

Isn't Ted Wheeler the same mayor that antifa tried to burn out of his condo building ?
How is he still even in office ?

If this gets traction it could hurt. It’s not just “buying from Texas”
It’s telling people that you had better not send conferences based on Texas, because we won’t spend any or spend money for people to go there.
Losing That conference income won’t break the economy, but it’ll definitely stunt it.

As a proud resident of the Pacific Northwest, I'm firmly on the side of Texas in this matter.
