They wanted to play the revolution game. They knew the stakes and it's clear in how they make no mention of distancing, saying they're not violent, Antifa doesn't exist, etc.

"Its members have their own money"? Have you seen photos of these clowns? Who would pay them much if anything? And the ex member in that video said that a lot of the agitators travel across the country, from protest to protest, especially those on the West Coast. Put up in hotels, expenses covered along with their rioting supplies. But would love to see those tough guys in that photo try & punch anyone.....unless it was 5 on 1.

On the flip side, back in the '80s there as an off-brand Islamic Jihad that would just wait for an industrial accident, or a chemical spill, fire, train derailment, etc., and then claim they did it.
