I am Catholic and despise this current pope. I don’t follow anything he says. He will have to answer to God Himself for all his falsehoods and they are many.

All Religions do indeed "have a role to play". Lucifer does for that matter.
Lest I be mistaken, both Christianity, Judaism and Islam all believe a prophetic narrative wherein a massive and unequaled, calamitous World War ushers in the coming of a 'Madhi'/Messiah, etc., wherein peace and a 'heaven' on Earth will occur.
So I reckon that who is what e good or bad will all come out in the wash. I'm going with Jesus being "only begotten Son of God, making His second appearance. This time "not with peace, but a sword...".
Fascinating time, at least until the pain and horror cloud the happy vision.

While the Orthodox Church is the second largest Christian denomination behind the Catholic Church with 230 million members, it pales in comparison to the Catholic Church's 1.1 billion members. The Orthodox Church is also based more on national identity (Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Armenian Orthodox, Latvian Orthodox, etc.) and thus isn't as universal of an organization as its Catholic brothers and sisters are.

Like it's never happened before. There have been 267 popes in the long history of the Catholic Church. Not every single one of them has been a saint. I can tell that Pope Francis means well, loves the Lord, and loves his flock, but the man really sucks at messaging.
