Go on record.

In regards to political debates to run for any office

A) Don’t need them anymore
B) You shouldn’t run for office if you refuse to debate
C) only my candidate shouldn’t have to debate

It’s funny watching you guys pretend to have discussions on topics when everyone knows all your positions are simply whatever is opposite of or hurts Trump.

D) All of your options suck, and debates still have utility in competitive races or those with unknown candidates.

It’s a public office. The voters absolutely deserve to see the candidates engage with each other. It doesn’t have to be legacy media by any means but it’s bullshite if you don’t have the stones to stand with your opponents.

there is not an answer that fits every situation, you have to adapt to every particular circumstance.

They’ve become very useful for identifying which candidates and their followers are little bitches and won’t participate.

In a society where podcasts have become all the rage, you would think people would enjoy hearing candidates talk about their policies with other candidates.

Lacks context.

D) no - debate not needed if you’ve already served 1 term and are up 30+ points on the nearest candidate who has NOT served any term.

I pick D

So it’s C. Only Trump needs to be protected. Got it.

Yep such a coward to answer 3 options that force something I don’t believe so you get your “I got ya moment” on here.

How about d. Let the goons do the first debate and let trump see how it affects him.

There’s no rules saying you have to do these. Why would you give cable networks the attention when they’re supposedly evil? Trump, he’s going non network to discuss his campaign with a better host. Why is that so bad?

Nope. The polling suggests the voters already have decided and we all know his policy positions from his first term.

I’d say the same for any candidate n that situation.
