Socialism bruh... The end game was to crash the system and drive private insurance out of the market for the gubment to takeover. Full federal control of healthcare wields a lot of power.

It was especially ironic coming from someone who doesn't want to pay anyone else's health care and would be perfectly fine with the government reducing others to abject poverty for his own benefit.

England (1948), the Nordic countries, Italy, Russia and Canada (a non-exhaustive list) all had universal health care before 1973.

Have you thought about the possibility that your premiums and out of pocket costs for health care would have been substantially higher if he didn't intervene? Healthcare, medicines, R&D, and emerging technologies are EXPENSIVE.

I'm sorry to hear about your plight. Just like you, millions of American families struggle under the heavy burden that is obamacare. I know an acquaintance (young single mom) needing surgery. Doctor told her she must have this surgery to remove a cyst on her tonsil. The infection from this cyst flairs up constantly. Takes antibiotics but that's just a temporary fix. Bottom line she can't afford the deductibles. So she suffers.
Remember that next time you see that fricking clown Obama (or one of his supporters) gloat about his accomplishments OR attack Donald Trump.

It has less to do with controlling health care. They don't give a frick about the people. It is mostly about controlling the people and making them more dependent on the government therefore securing votes for generations.

Because it is a giant step in the transformation of a free and affluent society into a government controlled society where everyone is equal, i.e., equally poor, and controlled. You trade your freedom away for the big all powerful government. It's because the Left loves big government, the bigger and more powerful the government the better.

In 2004 my premium was half that and I was out of pocket less than $800 for 2 back surgeries, frick this bull shite.
