Most likely engine bleed air valve issues imo. Said OAT was reading very cold which likely stalled the engine and could’ve locked up the flaps, and when they climbed it likely broke. They were going down regardless unfortunately.

Did you not hear the pilot use the term "overspeed" a couple of times? The airframe is designed and rated for a maximum speed. Exceed that speed and parts (like horizontal stabilizers) start to come off. Icing, loss of control, overspeed, loss of control surfaces, impact.
