the buildings are still there, the people are still there, they just dont have electricity and cant cross some rivers
we literally burnt two major cities to the ground and they still came back, so even Tokyo and Dresden were not killed off permanently

we and the Israelis have been arming the militias inside Iran for a long time
they have been organizing and training for this for years
there never was a plan for the US to invade Iran, but there is definitely a plan to help overthrow the government. The regime has to be weakened enough to allow the elements inside the government that are friendly to a revolution to operate and the militias to be able to secure the streets
