His first volley lasted about 11 seconds. In a 30 round mag with the bump fire stock, you'd get about 3 seconds maybe 4 of continuous fire before you're out. The 50 round mag in the first picture doesn't lend that many extra seconds.

I mean I personally believe that I do not need to know the truth on everything. It is not my business that the manner someone dies or what is happening on a battlefield. Just give me what I need to know and some things are not of public's interest.

So, in this day and age, where getting the story first (regardless of validity) is the only objective, these pictures haven't been plastered on every media source, is rather odd to say the least.

Not a forensic expert, but two questions.
1- why would gun fly out of his mouth and over his head to the rear?
2- if there was an exit wound, why is the only blood splatter following the gun. Shouldn't there be shite everywhere behind him?

the photos of the guns were released to a reporter (see the stickied thread) where did the, he is dead, Jim--- photo come from?

Sadly, I have seen and examined several patients with self inflicted gunshot wounds to the mouth. Crazy enough some survived, most did not.
Some things seen can never be unseen.
That picture is 100% consistent with a self inflicted gunshot wound from a pistol placed inside the mouth, mouth open, and muzzle aimed backward and slightly upward toward the uvula (hangy down thing in back of throat).
The blood on the floor is consistent with this also as a previous poster noted the blood separates and clots. The water portion seeping into fabrics while the solids remain. That photo was also taken with in a relatively short time after the wound as the blood has not significantly changed colors nor has it crusted along the face.
I would assume the blood/sweat stain on the shirt is from a laceration prior to the suicide. Likely from breaking out the windows with that short handled sledge hammer.
As far as the firearms the first is not bump fire, the second one has a bump fire or slide fire stock.

The top ar is a Daniel Defense ddm4 and the second appears to be a DPMS or Anderson arms judging by the rail pattern

Just standard I think. Or they took it out of his hand when they ran in. Seeing had to be an issue. Room fricking full of gunsmoke from 1000(?) rounds. Smoke from the blast breaching the door. I assume the guys who entered were covered head to toe in tactical gear and bomb squad shite combined.
We are looking at a picture of the scene probably 30 mins after. It took them a while to clear that room for explosives and booby traps etc before they were gonna let the crime scene photo guys in.
