The story we NEVER get from these ubiquitous murders is the why (motive).
The "Dateline 20/20" type murders that occasionally happen in white suburbia always have a twisted backstory or at least a life insurance scam.
These ghetto murders are always over nothing. Making a perceived slight about someone's basketball sneakers can get you killed. I knew a guy who was killed over chicken wings. A co-worker left his leftover hot wings in a break-room fridge and this dude on the nightshift came in and at them. The next day when the co-worker discovered the theft and coldly announced that he was going to kill the guy then promptly walked out and did just that. One man dead and one rotting in prison for life...over chicken wings.
Remember the Aaraon Hernandez case? Killed a family member in cold blood all because he saw him talking to a stranger that had slighted him in a club.

If the cops end up having to kill the dude in black, Drew Brees will definitely be wearing his name. He'll never know the name of the man that he killed because the media won't report it.

To not hear someone trying to shoot you in the back of the head, for about 30 seconds, the options seem to be “he was deaf” or “he had his goddamn headphones on.”
