He should use the phrase “I predict” there. Without saying that, this comes out as fraudulent on part of the AG since the majority of votes haven’t even been cast.

You can call out the statement without lying.
Counting mail in votes by hand takes time and manpower and sometimes takes several days. There has never been a modern election for president in which 50 states certified that all votes were counted and the tally was final on the election day.
News agencies "call the state" based upon what they decide is enough votes counted to make the outcome inevitable. But that does not mean that all votes are counted when ABC or Fox News "calls the election."

No one is making the argument that every single vote cast has to be counted by midnight on election day. The argument is that votes should have to be in by the last time someone can cast a vote in person. They shouldn't be able to continue to receive votes after election day. Some states allow that but the law in Pennsylvania and North Carolina don't as those laws specifically say they have to be received by election day. However, the judiciary in those states has decided to unilaterally override the law because of covid.
I know you're going to come back with Trump saying to count every vote on election day but he clearly means to only consider votes received by/on election day not that every single vote has to be counted by midnight. That's just absurd.

Nor have they ever asked for a 7 day extension either where votes are accepted AFTER election day.
