Actually those are Type 5 Amphibious Armored Vehicles...
They supposedly have a 500KM cruising range and the straight is what 180KM?
Not saying they can get there but if published data is correct, they can get there...

500KM is the range over land not water
ETA - The amphibious capability is just to allow them to deploy from a transport from offshore to the beach, and maybe cross a river, not to cross open ocean.
