It was exactly what many of us here thought it was.

and even that's not the full truth; the truth is it was two-fold: (1) something to take attention away from the fact that the election was stolen, and (2) to send a chilling effect against protests from the right.
ETA: I'll add a 3rd, to see just how much we'd take when people were locked up and eventually sentenced for BS "charges".

Bongino has been covering this in great detail. Probably the biggest story no one is covering. It wasn't antifa, it was the Feds who planted the pipe bombs. And they lied about Kamala being in the Senate as well. She was at DNC headquarters.

I'm sorry guys, but The Insurrection, which was the worst threat to our democracy since Pearl Harbor resulted in many violent deaths, the intended hanging on the gallows of Mike Pence and the (hopefully) justified disenfranchisement of 75-80 million Americans and imprisonment of hundreds of white nationalists.

It was actually the worst thing to ever happen to the United States of America. Full stop. Dwarfs even the Holocaust in its devastation. I’m actually crying and shaking right now just thinking about it. I lost sight in my right eye from the anxiety and fear. Hair turned white literally overnight.

Yes, there were two pipe bombs planted. One outside the DNC and one outside the RNC. Neither were viable, despite what they told us. And no, not a coincidence.

Exactly. Turns out they do know the who the person is. It was a plainclothes Capitol police officer. Bongino actually covered all of this yesterday on his podcast, but he has been covering the entire plot a lot over the last 3 weeks or so. He understands all of the intricacies having been a former SS agent.

Me too. I found that as I tried to turn up the volume on my remote to watch critical MSNBC coverage or in my car to turn up NPR, my hands would shake uncontrollably and I would just have these dark and almost moist (I wish) fantasies of The Bad Orange Man wearing matching orange prison garb, and I would feel such relief.
