I still think Paxton squeaks out the win. And the GOP onslaught won’t be as bad as predicted. They’ll lose the House and keep the Senate.

Paxton is not a compelling candidate. Unless he improves, he's likely done. And once Talarico is in he will be as good as Ossoff in having a job for life.

Nah he’s going to win by a similar margin of any recent Texas senate race. And all of the fundraising trips to California tali can do won’t change that.

Correct. Tala uses national populism as support when what matters is his state. This is what kicked Massie’s arse in his primary. You can have tons of support but local is what truly matters.

Conservatives have lost, are losing and will continue to lose simply because they forgot how to fight.
They're too nice and they believe the false notion that having the moral, logical and quite frankly, sane platform is enough to convince people to uphold what this country was founded on and stood for at one time.
They allowed the rot to fester and grow in this country instead of remediating it as soon as it reared its ugly head. It should have been made uncomfortable and maybe even dangerous to hold the values that most on the left profess in 2026 proudly and openly.
The fundamentally core values of America are changing and have changes and conservatives let it happen because they thought it would never happen.
