Thousands and thousands of kids have been bullied over the years, some more so than the shooter, who never went on to kill 17 people.

More or less than kids who grew up with guns in their house "over the years"?

If true, then I hate to point out to GI Jane that she has more blood of her slain classmates on her hands than does the NRA.

The students are responsible for this. As well as all those in charge of these students.

He was reported multiple times to school administration and police. Are you saying that high school students are responsible for making sure a mentally unstable person gets help? Give me a break. That's his parents' / guardian's responsibility.

As a 50 year old man, it's easy for me to agree with you.

As a teenager with the baggage that kid was carrying from a bad home situation, I can't be as quick. I'm not some pearl-clutching "Think of the kids!" person, but kids today face stuff that we never did.

I have two boys. One of them is top of his class, club leader, multi-sport athlete, etc. Other one had a much harder time finding friends and finding his place, and I still recall times I heard him crying himself to sleep and not knowing what I could do to make it better. He worked his way through it and is doing great now, but it could have gone another way. All that to say that two kid with the same resources had very different teen years.

This kid had a bunch of crap dumped on him, and teens have a remarkable capacity to gang up and bully. Once you are on that shitlist, it is hard to get off it and it does real damage.

Relentlessly bullying someone can and will often break them down, to the point where they are vulnerable to the other shite that is affecting them.

If it's true that the progressives were bullying that kid.. then I have to assume that it wasn't just one or two aggressors. When progressives use bully tactics, they do so in a swarmesque type of manner.

Right. But it isn't bullying alone. Bullying might be a factor.

If this HS was anything like my HS, everyone bullied the weird kids. Has nothing to do with being "progressive" or "conservative"

The bullying may be just one component of the blame, along with the shooter, his parents, the cop who stood outside, the police response, the police failure to follow up, the school officials, the fbi, etc

It’s not one component, it’s the root of the problem. Being the subject of bullying creates a whole lot of internal anger. You are angry at the people doing the bullying, the kids and teachers who stand by and do nothing, yourself for not being able to protect yourself and your parents who can’t protect you. In my case, I lashed out at most everyone. I resented people trying to make me feel better, as if it was all ok. I never took it to the level that police were ever involved, but I still had my issues, especially at home. I found an outlet to channel some of my anger, lots of kids don’t. Some eventually snap. If the kids in that school bullied him for years and they were never punished for it, they do deserve some blame. They may not ever be held criminally liable, but they will walk around for the rest of their lives knowing the shite they did to him eventually caused him to snap. That’s their cross to bear.

Children will always think and react like children

The problem is with the MSM constantly giving them a platform to yell into a microphone about things they don't understand.

You people are still discussing fake news and making broad assumptions at what happened in this kids childhood.

They just believe what they want to believe. Some still believe Hogg wasn't even at the school.

The frick you cant. They bullied this guy for years, to the point he finally snapped and killed people and they aren’t in anyway responsible for his mental state of mind? Gtfo with that shite. Everyone has limits and if you push a person far enough, they will eventually snap and respond back, often violently

Somewhat true. I was bullied about as much as person can be bullied up until the end of my junior year of high school. I'm talking about 2 or 3 guys every day punching and hitting me , as well as verbal abuse. It was awful, not even gonna lie.

Joined the Army, went to basic training the summer before my senior year of high school, put on 50 lbs of muscle, learned to fight, and most importantly gained a shite load of self confidence.

First day of my senior year, my bullies appear, my bullies get their collective asses kicked. I guess that could count as me "snapping" however, there were no less than 20 rifles in the back of various pickup trucks in the school parking lot that day and I sure didn't even think "I'm gonna rage shoot these frickers today"

That's the gist of everything you have passionately been posting about in here. This seems to have struck a nerve with you.

It used to be like that when I was in school also. It wasn't political.

Today, though? Idk man. Kids bully the frick out of other kids that don't believe in gun control, that don't see the point of transsexual bathrooms...etc.

In my lil niece's school, they bully each other over social justice bullshite.
