Palestinian Who Displayed His Hands Soaked In Israeli Soldiers’ Blood Is No More

24 years ago, during the Second Intifada, two Israeli soldiers were in a Ramallah police station. They had taken a wrong turn while en route to their post in a car. Two versions exist on how they ended up in the police station: one says they were there after being taken into custody at a checkpoint; another says they themselves took refuge there after getting lost.
A crowd forced their way inside the station and murdered the two soldiers. They were beaten, bludgeoned, and stabbed to death. One was shot, set on fire, and had his head pulverized into pieces. The other was thrown out the second floor window to the crowd below where he was stomped and mutilated. Both soldiers’ bodies were then dragged with rope through the streets.
During the lynching, immediately upon the deaths, Aziz Salha proudly displayed his blood soaked hands to the crowd, who erupted in celebration.
He was apprehended by Israel the following year but released, along with over 1000 other prisoners, for one Israeli soldier.
He is now dead. Israel killed him in Gaza.

This dates to the beginning of the 20th century, and it's because of Zionsm. Historically, Jews looked at Islam as a kind of ally*, and if you were Jewish, living in the Muslim world was preferable to the Christian one. When the Muslims invaded Spain, the Jews of Toledo famously opened the gates to the invading army.
* And this is still true to a great degree, look at how Jewish groups have pushed and supported Islamic migration to the West.
