This unplanned, grassroots protest is like the Summer of BLM when they held rallies in Jackson Square and hoped to get some momentum going with locals and then the locals would do the damage. But New Orleans locals are pretty hard to get excited about anything and getting them to act together is almost impossible. The Summer of BLM protests had organizers and speakers from out of town. There was catering to feed them. It went nowhere.

Let me guess.. all of the tents are the exact same type and same exact color! All of the protestors got together and went up to the nearest REI and bought them all at the exact same time to keep everything uniform and pretty!!

I’ll hand it to the rent a mob, this is a gutsy move. They had a bum get stabbed Saturday morning around 3 am on Canal and Peters, so they won’t be in a safe area. Plus it’s humid AF and the mosquitos are swarming. Soros better be paying these protesters hazard pay!
