This is a terrible spin on the statistics. According to that graphic, the low income ivy league post graduates go 70% democrat, whereas those making the bigger dollars go 65%-66% democrat. So the low-income jealously can only be accounting for 4% to 5% of that one tiny cohort.
And that’s only if it accounts for 100% of the differences between the income cohorts of ivy league post graduates. It doesn’t. Some of that is accounted for by the fact that low income people tend to vote democrat (probably because free shite).

So a society places high value on someone with the skills to help provide a resource that almost everyone in society needs.
Society does not place as high a value on someone who can lecture, social engineer and spend most of their time trying to fix things that no-one ever asked for them to fix.
And these young Ivy grads are bent out of shape about it and think communism will “correct it”.

As the percentages appear to generally increase left to right, it could also be inferred that more time in college simply equates to more indoctrination towards those particular political beliefs.

But he isn't trying to explain the difference between Democrats and Republicans; he is trying to explain the difference between mainstream Dems and far-left socialists.

Wasn’t it ranked choice and he won as soon as he got over 50%? If it was a two man race he probably gets 60-65% and that’s a mandate

That's pretty much what i've seen. Also, the people that go into huge debt for an undergrad degree always come from lower to middle income families. They don't understand that the degree isn't quite enough. You need the connections, the financial support and guidance, the polishing, and experience that comes from a middle to upper-class upbringing.

So a moderate democrat has a choice between a more conservative demor republican, and a socialist lunatic with no leadership experience or financial expertise.
