Along with signed a purchase agreement on a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house with living room, dining room, office, and a large room which I will make into a bar with poker table, pool table, 2 TVs for gatherings with my friends to watch the games.

Thank you President Trump for the great economy that made this all possible for a 29 year old

Congrats. That first home purchase is a big damn deal. I was in a very similar situation with mine recently.

Congratulations!

I never had student loans but I have paid off CC debt before. Paying those off and buying a house are two great moments!

Not much confidence in the student loan forgiveness program?

Congrats on some big time life goals.

Congrats, but careful not get yourself in debt up to your eyeballs with pool tables, poker tables, multiple TV’s, and toys unless you can afford it.

Congrats. Maybe I'm getting you mixed up with another poster, but I had you figured for closer to 50 than 30.

Don't most people do that within a couple of years of graduating? Obviously not a 4/3 large house, but I thought you graduated, saved up for a couple of years for a down payment, then bought a house. Obviously that would only apply to people who like where they are and plan on staying, but is that not still the pattern?

I'm not trying to be a dick; I'm genuinely curious.

Dumbass, don't you know Elizabeth Warren is going to cancel everyone's student loan debt? How did you go to all that school and you're still an idiot?

But seriously, congrats on all three accomplishments. Being a financially responsible adult is something that seems to be a massive struggle for a lot people of all ages. Enjoy your new home and make sure to take the same steadfast approach to paying off debt!

My builder friend said that dining rooms are on the way out. His and Her totally separate bathrooms are in.

Not to worry, someday you will screw up and your wife and her lawyer will put you in your place again.

That's a big day, congratulations! How does it feel to be self-sufficient! I'm guessing pretty damn good.
