Our resident leftists seem VERY CONCERNED that Trump will back down on tariffs :)

Very strange.
First they trumpet for all to hear that Trump is harming muh working man with his tariffs.
Now they trumpet for all to hear that Trump is harming muh working man by backing off on the tariffs.
Very curious. It's almost as if they're only here to try to sow discontent with Trump and drive a wedge between Trump supporters.
Of course the rest of us understand that the tariffs 'worked' even when the offending country bends the knee and removes their own tariffs, negating the need for us to levy them.
p.s. For the lefties and undercover lefties posing as conservatives: A TARIFF and a LEVY is very close to the same thing. All TARIFFS are LEVIES, however not all levies are tariffs.
All clear now? You may now return to keying each others' Teslas.

All I know is that MANY Americans, both left and right, understand that the tariffs were viewed negatively by a lot of industries, and the markets reflected that concern immediately.
So everyone seems to be happy that Trump has backed off of that idea.
And the other factor seems to be the concern that the Legislative Branch leadership in Congress has completely abdicated all of their power and responsibility at this point.
