The Dems only platform at this point is to be against whatever Trump says or does and “resist”.
As a party they offer nothing.

How does that translate to my increased daily costs on used goods
How the frick do I know? I have no idea what your personal spending habits are.

Why would i give a frick about hardwood flooring
I never said you did. You asked me to break it down for you, so I did. Then your response is: Why do I give a frick?
Classy.
If you aren't building or renovating a house, then you probably wouldn't care. If you are, then it will cost you maybe $1 a square foot more. Or you can buy Made in the USA and it will cost you about $4-5 sft more. The choice is yours.

Yet, he should.
When people have to pay more, they don't just eat those costs. It spreads.
"I don't care about hardwood flooring" is a pretty solid demonstration of how ignorant some of these people really are.

It's a curious circlular logic that seems to exist in the political spectrum:
Biden: Let's pass the Inflation Reduction Act to spend $2 trillion on entitlement programs that will fight inflation....
Trump: We need to reduce inflation, reduce taxes, and reduce government regulation. Therefore I will immediately impose new tariffs on our trading partners.....
How dumb do they think we are?

Pretty damn dumb, and the electorate has been proving them correct for decades.

Are you now saying you hated the Biden economy and voted for it again anyway?

You leftists seem VERY CONCERNED about this. First you whined that he would institute tariffs, now you're VERY CONCERNED that he is muh bAcKiNg D0wN.

His house is built on sand. He is told by the TV what he must believe. Talking heads are his gods.

When I buy something from a retail store in the state of say Mississippi, the state adds 7% to the transaction. I pay it. The retailer collects it and passes it on to the State Treasury.
When I buy something from a company in Vietnam that I want to import into the USA, the USA adds 8% to the transaction. I pay it. The NVOCC that handles the ocean freight and import documents collects the money from me and passes it onto the United States Treasury.
They're exactly the same. They're both taxes on commercial transactions collected by the government and used as sources of revenue.
Can you explain how they are materially different?

I'm just the wholesaler. I give my customers the choice. They're the ones picking the imported product 10 to 1 over the American made products.
Every wholesaler offers both. It's called capitalism.

But if i offered only American products I would be out of business in 30 days. You buy foreign made stuff every day. So does everyone

Im not asking your dumbarse to explain tariff increase on hard wood flooring
At some point the tariff tards need to tell us how much more we will pay on daily used goods
The facking answer is none. None of you can get us an answer
Its comedy at its finest

And when people lose jobs, they can't pay anything. You people can't juggle more than one variable in your head at a time.
All you see if a higher price. You can't comprehend that a higher price also affects the industry in other ways. It shifts market share, production costs, jobs, security, culture. It has been brought up repeatedly how a tariff can benefit the country to offset the low cost change. You're just being willfully stupid at this point.
