I have wondered what happened to him - been quite a while.
I 'grew up' in this board debating Rex. He was always willing to share well structured thought processes behind his verbiage. He seemed a little agitated toward the end as I recall, and then didn't hear anything from him afterwards.

I buy about 2 containers a month of engineered hardwood flooring from both Cambodia and Vietnam. It's from Chinese companies, but they built factories in CB and VN years ago to take advantage of cheaper labor than they could get in China.
It's about $45,000 per container FOB the factory. I send the factory that money. The freight varies but usually about $5500 per container from the factory to my warehouse. Plus there's an 8% duty on the flooring. So that's about another $4000. So I write an additional check of about $9500 to my freight forwarder/NVOCC. They send the tariff portion along to the US Treasury.
