Scott Jennings would be a great press secretary. IMHO

Now, Axios reports that Trump did not have Zacharia as his first choice for the role. Instead, he wanted to hire former Fox News host Maria Bartiromo but was turned down.

Axios noted that conservative CNN commentator Scott Jennings was in contention for the job before Trump ultimately offered it to Zacharia.

Jennings would be great, but I would love another Scott...Bessent.

He would leave bodies in his wake.

I'll have to disagree on Jennings. I think he sucks.

Bessent obviously can't do it but your'e right that he would be hilarious

Bartiromo made a good decision. She's got it made doing what she's doing.

I haven't fully researched it but I'm confident Mike Tys9n would be the first facially-tattooed, ex-con of color to serve as press secretary. It would be a historical milestone.

Jennings is good with the one liners going against the CNN shitelibs. But, I'm not sure he is built for the daily grind of that job.

A few reports said that he was ruled out for having made disparaging remarks about Trump before seeing the light. He is close to McConnell.

Great in limited quantities in front of the press but he’s not a great public speaker

Jennings is not leaving his cnn job. He just got a significant raise in 2025.

My guess is that he’ll poach a press sec. From one of his cabinet members

Correct. He is a one trick pony and incredibly stupid.

And more importantly he's from the GWB neocon camp. frick him.

Why would he? He has a cush job arguing with retards and doesn’t need to do shite to prepare for it

Better question is who would want the job? Doing it right is a lot of work and largely thankless. Particularly when Dems can be completely retarded and not held accountable when they’re doing it

Jennings is going to hold statewide office in Kentucky, this would be so far below him at this point in his career
