I think there is virtually no chance that it passes. And if it does then I think it can/would be overturned by their legislature.
By...Oregon's state legislature? What makes you think that would happen?

Or when they are the first state that jammed through all mail voting

There's still a lot of god fearing folk out there in Oregon, may not seem like it.

It’s really about the guns, these freaks care less about animals

They’d be fine with it west of the mountains. Out east they’ll get serious about seceding.

Oregon is what happens when an outdoorsy area gets overwhelmed with transplants from California.
My job puts me in contact with multiple people from the PNW that moved to the south. From what they tell me, everything is run by Seattle and Portland in their respective states and if you aren't there your opinion basically doesn't matter.
They've killed some major industries in those states. Everything that happens is someone in the cities saying "well yeah this sounds great" and it gets passed. Nothing is looked at beyond surface level, which is also true in most areas, but there is zero pushback on anything.

Yall worry too much.
Pass that shite.
I want to see what happens when they start seeing stinky gutter trash commies eaten by grizzly bears and wolves.

What the Measure Would Do
IP28 would remove long-standing legal exemptions from Oregon’s animal cruelty laws, meaning:
Hunting and fishing (sport and commercial) would be classified as animal abuse.
Trapping for pest control or wildlife management would be illegal.
Livestock farming and ranching would be banned, including breeding, milking, dehorning, docking, and artificial insemination — all of which would be labeled “sexual abuse” under the measure Yahoo+1.
Scientific research involving animals and rodeos would also be prohibited.
Tribal subsistence and ceremonial hunting/fishing would be banned.

Well without the need to hunt it essentially waters down the need for a 2A.
OR you could allow hunting and pass reasonable restrictions on the types of guns allowed to be possessed for hunting.
I hunted my whole life with a single shot bolt action rifle. You don’t need an AR with a 30 round clip. I understand that argument.

Would a 10 round clip on an AR make your vag stop bleeding?

Pretty sure there are state democratic leaders openly speaking out about it. Theoretically, this would result in a lot of missing state agriculture and wildlife enforcement officials in red Oregon.

You might want to read the 2A again.

You don’t know what single-shot means. It’s either single-shot or it’s bolt action, they’re not the same thing.

It’s called a “magazine”. A clip is what you see on Band of Brothers when they load rounds into the top of the gun and the last shot when the gun goes empty it makes a PINNGG sound

Reason I post this though is this is how the left will go after guns.
Unfortunately I lost all my guns in a boat accident. The floor of Lake Conroe is covered with weapons.
