That guy could flip a field as well as anyone since Ray Guy.

Lane Kiffin with strong NIL resources and Louisiana high school football. Edna Karr might as well build a tunnel to Tiger Stadium. It is about to get ugly.

You'll win some games. Get ready for his semi-annual flirting with every job that opens up. When Texas or Bama open up, you'll get the see Lane's true colors.

I don’t think he knows yet.

If you saw his press conference yesterday, that guy has completely checked out. As an Ole Miss fan, I have no issue with him other than the way he handled it. Good luck to him

In real life, people consider job offers all the time. Let the process play out.

That may be true but they typically do not do it in a way that distracts from their current job.
Your team is in the middle of a playoff run and you are openly flirting with other jobs? In the corporate world, you arse would be fired so fast, it would make your head spin.
Good on Keith Carter for calling this fricking clown out.

Drink isn't the back-up. Ole Miss knows who it wants to replace Lane with if it has to but that coach has another solid offer on the table which is another issue with the timeline. We can't let Lane go into December without giving us an answer and miss out on who we want to replace him.

On the MPW podcast, they were saying they bet it is resolved by a week from today....one way or another....
personal feelings, I hope he moves on.....tired of the BS.....

If he's leaving, he'll phone in his remaining games - no matter how important they are.

I don't think he coaches the egg bowl.

They hired Kiffin. That’s the risk you run.

Yes, we knew the risk when we hired him. He has done a great job for us but at this point in time, he needs to GTFO.
I could care less that he wants to be someone else but the way he has handled it is beyond unprofessional. He is a drama queen/attention whore.
Prime looked like a beaten man. All that shite talk early in the year caught up with him. Wait until Utah gets hold of his arse this coming week.
Ole Miss has yet to play a complete game. We need to put teams away when the opportunity is there. We do not do that. We kill ourselves with dumbass penalties. I think we could be a good team if we can start doing this.

When you talk as much shite as they did all week to the local media, they deserve what they got...While I think Prime has done a good job of turning things around, his classless constant shite talk takes away from the good he has done.....His bringing race into things after they beat TCU is a "prime" example....it is what he is....classless

Prime will have worn out his welcome very soon. Living near Boulder and hearing not only his shite talk but his players is wearing thin. CSU got tired of it and did play dirty....IMO, Colorado got what they deserved and were damn lucky to win a game at home against a very bad team.
He almost got his arse beat at home to a bad CSU team.......the shite talk has gotten very old at this point......him and his punk arse players

re: Best punt ever

Posted by BroomfieldReb on 4/4/23 at 8:26 am to
The Ole Miss punter was Bill Smith. He also had a 77 yard punt in the same game along with the 92 yarder. In warm ups his senior year, he had a punt go from end zone to end zone in the air.

Wrong throwing flat heat is ineffective. With a little bit of movement 95 can be dominant.

Couldn't agree more. Our Friday guy, Delucia, will touch 94 on occasion but has alot of movement. He is really tough to hit when he is on.
Mike Huckabee. Just like he appears to be on television. Very likeable guy
quote:

In that scenario he would be turning us down so it’s a moot point.

“Oh you won’t accept?? Well you weren’t our guy anyways!!!”

If he had indicated that he was loyal to MB and wouldn't have accepted our job due that loyalty through backchannels, then no, he wasn't our guy to begin with.....no sure where you missed that but hopefully, this clears up my point.
quote:

Aren’t Bianco and McDonnell good friends and wasn’t there concern two or three years ago that if the former was fired the latter would not accept an offer from OM?

This is a business and if this is the case, he isn't our guy.

We have lame ducks at 2 our of 3 of the Big 3 sports....
I detest Arkansas but they have it going on now....all of their big 3 are trending upward....we look like a jr high program compared...

What a waste of a season coming up for 2022-2023

yep, that is exactly what it is. Keith committed the ultimate sin as far as coaching goes....he did not extend KD....you either extend him or fire him.....you just can't not extend and bring the guy back...

MacIntyre 46-65

In MacIntyre's defense, you have to look at his situation before judging him on record. He took over two really bad programs. In fact, he has had the only good season for Colorado in the last 20 years or so. I'm not saying he would have been a good fit but just looking his win-loss isn't a true indicator.
