Very easy solution, fine any corporation that employs an illegal 100K per instance. Arrest and jail every person in the corporate chain that hired them. First offense - felony 1 year minimum 10k dollar fine.

And anyone aiding or abetting them gets the same penalties to include government workers that issue them to get licenses or other benefits. The term "illegal" needs to mean just that.

Yes, I realize all of those things.
I also realize that studies have shown that somewhere north of 80% of illegals have fake documentation that looks real, and enforcing on the employers rather than the illegals (which, their being here is also illegal) basically puts employers in a position of either having to do law enforcement's job themselves, or to discriminate against Hispanics (which is ALSO illegal).
This is exactly why law enforcement DOESN'T enforce against employers and never has.
But none of that really addresses the point, does it? It's illegal for them to be here and it's illegal to hire them.
So why is he practically shooting in his pants at the idea of punishing only the Americans involved?

You have to do this if you want it to be effective. Make fines scale with the size of business. If they are caught employing illegals the fines need to be so high that the business will cease to exist if they employ illegal immigrants.
Also make renting to illegals punishable by forfeiture of your property.
Make it so illegals literally can't live or work here.

What is the required due diligence on my part? If I e-verify am I good even if an illegal falls through the cracks? What about TWIC? or 4 stage background checks?
Because that is what every person who applies for a job here does and they still get through.
Do I need to deploy a team of investigator to South & Central America to investigate Juan's family lineage?
It simply astonishes me that people who claim to hate govt entities like OSHA, the EPA, or the IRS somehow believe an organization with the power to jail/fine companies won't be abused...like at all.

I had to laugh, I called a US federal govt office in Dominican Republic and the voice answering was all spanish, at the end it said "marca nueve para Ingles".
Now how the heck would I know to press nine for english unless you said it.....in english.

Come on guys, we cant even get states and cities to agree they are part of the United States and will comply with the existing laws.
Give them 10 days, they either work with ICE or we cut the internet, phone service, and take them off the SWIFT banking system.
It will take them about 15 minutes to comply.
We have let this "sanctuary" nonsense go on far too long.
