It's called PR. There are lots of capitalists who privately don't give a shite about the poor. How many of them hold a news conference and say 'I just want everyone in America to know that I don't give a flying frick about poor people.'

We voted Trump in and had the senate and the house and Paul Ryan did nothing because he disliked Trump.
Democrats passed Obamacare when they had both houses.
Republican politicians are just slightly more conservative than Democrats.

I have on more occasions than you can count. You're usually banned within two minutes of any criticism of the fascist known as the Democratic Party.
I even had an unknown liberal admin on this site scold me the other night. My crime? I referred to Mayor Buttplug.
