I appreciate the sentiment, but the cure cannot be worse than the disease. Handing absolute power to anyone regardless of political affiliation or beliefs is dangerous, short sighted as well as being un-American. What about when trump dies? What about if the next guy that takes power is an evil dictator? Absolute dictatorial power is not for any one man to possess.
