I'm trying to game theory out what their motives are? The only reason I am still a little bullish on Trump, is because of the way they have gone after him and continue to go after him. And they being the people I despise the most in Washington and the media. It intrigues me how much they hate him, and makes me feel compelled to support his campaign for this reason alone.

There are two basic camps who oppose Trump.

1) The LWO/DC Establishment who are threatened by the "Orange Outsider."
2) The mentally fragile who are incapable of separating policy from personality.

Unfortunately the real problem is in the 2nd camp, these mentally fragile Americans are the ones who have taken the OMB download from the MSM and they will vote against their best interests and the interests of the nation if it means the end of OMB.....sad.

3) The people who think being an emotional 13 year old makes it impossible to build the coalition necessary to make a difference in Washington. He is a divider, and the only way to change things is if a large enough majority of the people are behind the agenda. Trump will never be able to build that majority because he's unlikable, unnecessarily confrontational, and ego driven. Over half the population won't support him and a minority doesn't have the political capital to change things.

They are trying the Nicaraguan approach to defeating opponents to their leftist utopia. Like Daniel Ortega, they want to charge and arrest anyone who runs against them. It's very leftist of them that they can take time out from wrecking the economy to do this.

lol - ALL politicians are “ego-driven” by varying extents with the majority of them being textbook narcissists.

That’s irrelevant because we’re not a democracy. Under the constitutional system, the vast majority of the nation is conservative and is being held hostage by less than 10 urban shitholes.

They already know that. They know it's not the point, though.

The point is to continue incessantly slamming the Tangerine Tyrant. They know the J6 Committee is dead in the water and could likely be dissolved altogether in early '23. So they'll make a final effort to bring some kind of bullshite charge against him just for it to suddenly stop being pursued once the GOPe takes the house back.

Gives them more ammunition to sky scream, "See?! The Republicans are covering up for Trump by ending our years' worth of work on this committee!!1!!1".

They're all on the same team and have their respective roles to play.

Da committee is to figure out what happened and then formulate their opinions.

Ignore the fact that the committee members have been making accusations before the committee was formed, and making accusations during the committee. Making it obvious that they were going to steer the committee in certain directions, even if they've to hide evidence.

I will be on the edge of my seat awaiting their vote. I’m sure they will be pondering their decisions all weekend. I hope they vote no and choose not to refer him.

Facts don't matter, they will recommend criminal charges and the Dem DOJ will go with whatever they send and do it.

Could the next House undo this as its first order of business? And release all the people held without charges?

Are they taking a time out though or wasting time while dangling shiny hooks to distract their ilk?

Let's never forget they are focusing on what a few hundred dumbarses did during their arms-less "insurrection" while letting millions on millions of invaders in.

There are a lot of things a new tough conservative leadership can fix, but I don't see how cleaning up what is being done right now is possible in a few yrs. Flat out letting what is happening at the border is WAY worse than what happened J6, but of course the Repubs lack the ability to convey that message.

Really do wish Musk would tweet something out about it, as right now he's the only somewhat Right leaning voice with power.

Neither is the Second Amendment. Anybody that did that would need to find a hole to live in and never set foot out of it the rest of their lives.
