It looks like this nation has become one where you have to look to see the political leanings of the local DA before traveling to a city.

Special prosecutor by the name of Franklin. Based on the press conference, I believe they prosecuted him in order to keep more riots from happening.

Yes and it is being done. It just does not look like you want it to look. Conservatives are not yet going to go out in the streets, but look at the support Kyle Rittenhouse is getting. Conservatives work within the system, Rittenhouse will be a watershed legal case. If you believe in the rule of law, you have to give it a chance to correct, that is the system.

The state should put a bounty on killing people with criminal records who are again engaged in violent, criminal behavior. Shooter should at least get a medal.

And he should counter sue for the legal expenses, loss of wages and for pain and suffering. I hate the sue happy mentality of people, but this would be a case where I would support a large settlement to prevent crap like this.
I'm guessing it's the Omaha DA that's filing charges so he would have to sue the city.
