There is a blockade of Iranian ports. The strait is not closed to other traffic.
China can still get oil from the UAE. China has been kicked out of Panama and Venezuela. The strait of Malacca is also not closed to traffic. However, the United States and Indonesia, on April 13, 2026, formally established a Major Defense Cooperation Partnership during a Pentagon meeting between Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Indonesian Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin. China's sea lanes are now totally controlled by President Trump.
No wonder Xi will not be sending any military supplies to Iran.

Is it me or has the anti-war propaganda slowed down?

They fully believed that Iran could hold the strait. It was their best, last argument.

Freeing Cuba without a drop of blood or intervention will certainly cause a lot of heads to spin

Feels like the blockade has totally taken the winds out of the sail of the "Iran has won a strategic victory by controlling the Strait" narrative. I hope and expect Trump will ignore the calls of the Saudis and some others to stop the blockade.

The OIL extraction might have to drop soon when storage fills up...then they CAN'T PAY THEIR MILITARY and government

That will become $13 BILLION if this goes on for 30 days straight. ??

"They can't get their oil out...they have around 13-15 days of storage."

"After that, they will run out and have to drop their oil extraction, that's gonna cause long-term effect to their ability to go back to extract oil."

How will we ever have a peace deal when Trump says no nuclear development.

Has Iran agreed to no more nuclear development?

Iran also needs to give up what enriched uranium they claimed to have.

The BBC would also broadcast plays in French during WW2. On the eve of Dday one of the actors said "the dice are on the table", which meant the french resistance should cut the phone lines, telegraph, blow the rail lines and DUCK.

Geology wise I think Iran is sitting on a lot of natural uranium deposits, that could supply a lot of nuclear power plants. If they would just focus on power plant fuel I think it would be allowed

Oh FFS they also sit on one of the largest gas fields in the world and a plethora of oil.......and Tehran was suffering blackouts before this started. You honestly think they would just want to build nuclear power plants when they cant even sustain a power grid???

That was the key
