Geology wise I think Iran is sitting on a lot of natural uranium deposits, that could supply a lot of nuclear power plants. If they would just focus on power plant fuel I think it would be allowed
Oh FFS they also sit on one of the largest gas fields in the world and a plethora of oil.......and Tehran was suffering blackouts before this started. You honestly think they would just want to build nuclear power plants when they cant even sustain a power grid???

The funny part was put the bombs between the minarets.
That was the key

Let’s call the civilian version the AR-30g and make these available to the public. After all, the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.

Not many know but Iran shares the northern portion of the Pars field with Qatar. They just haven’t developed it as Qatar has.
Once the people take over, Iran is going to flourish yugely. Proper well development, LNG trains and an ultimately wealthy nation.

I was pleased to meet today at the Pentagon with Mr. Abdellatif Loudiyi, Minister Delegate for National Defense, and Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, to sign the new U.S.-Morocco Defense Cooperation Roadmap. This Roadmap will guide our historic defense relationship for the next decade, building on a partnership that began 250 years ago when Morocco was the first nation to recognize the United States.

The crew of USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) are now the record holders for the longest carrier deployment since the collapse of the Soviet Union. On Wednesday, Ford’s deployment hit the 295-day record previously set by USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic..

Our investment in directed energy is paying off! Laser weapon systems will be a game-changer for counter-UAS missions to protect our forces, our border, and our people. This is more than a technical achievement. It is a big step forward in defending against hostile drones.

What is the board’s take on this? Are we expanding the countries where we have bases or is to replace EU bases? Indonesia, now Morocco? Explain this!

I believe it to be a reflection of the changing global economies --- whereas the USA has strategic interests elsewhere rather than what has been experienced since WW II - particularly centered upon fossil fuels.
Europe has chased foolish Green initiatives without paying for its defense, relying upon us. Europe squandered their future on so called social enlightenment. Much like Iran has but from another angle -- it squandered its position on militarization of the region and the world has passed them by.
As a result, if not new but deeper alliances are emerging

Europe would be screwed if we left.
EU is a shell of itself as they got fat on the hog while we paid for them and fought their battles. Russian incursion would happen tomorrow.
Perhaps they want to be dominated. They’re allowing their countries to be taken over

Just curious - why would Russia be able to roll over Poland if they have been unable to roll over Ukraine? In the drone age you don't even need soldiers to defend with guns- just drone operators sitting safely behind the front lines to hurl cheap drones at attackers. A few European nations announced deals with Ukraine today to jointly produce drones, so it seems like they are aware of this.
