Let’s say it happens, and Iran keeps threatening the Strait such that oil cannot move through it. Then we shutdown Iranian oil sales. In short order they would make a deal to back off of the Strait and be able to sell their oil. This is elementary.

Y’all never address the likely outcomes. If we make zero more progress against Iran we could reduce our military presence in the region to a sustainable strike force and simply tell Iran, “Open the Strait or we will obliterate your oil export terminals”. But your “astute young political commentator” does not believe we have escalation dominance? He does not sound astute to me.

You've become a lost prog; however, I remember you were a prog prior to hopping on the Trump train. Do you honestly believe "Iran has the cards"? They have next to zero leverage. Their country is in ruins. Their people detest them with every ounce of their being. Their missile capacity and capabilities are now diminished and now their electrical grid is about to get KTFO.

Idk about the rest of yall but I am convinced that the Kharg Island talk is just distraction from our real objectives. I have no idea what those are but I bet Kharg Island isn’t one of them. If it was then nobody would be talking about it.
Also yall just need to ignore SirWinston he is a British idiot who has openly admitted to being autistic and being attracted to transgender individuals. He probably supports Starmer too.
